I hear you on that. I need to get my butt there before they sell or go way up in price! Hard to find time now with my crazy work schedule! I'm hoping I can see one of them tomorrow!!!

The red XL looks really nice and super clean. White one is overpriced and also needs a gauge cluster repair done. Those transmission issues you were speaking of could be a possible problem or a very **** previous owner. Just something to think about.

That would be good. It's a nice truck and seems like it was well cared for by the look of the car fax.

Every vehicle will have a trans issue at some point in it's life. Yes it sucks to deal with. My trans gave out at not 83k because its previous owner was a dumbass hammered the poor trans. And it was not easy to deal with. But i wouldn't consider it to be a deal breaker if it's not the scenario that requires a whole rebuilt transmission. But if there's any kind of issue have it checked out and go from there. If you can take if for a ride take it into a mechanic while you're on the ride and have it checked out.

Well went and test drove the Red XL with 89k on it. Truck drove very, very well. Rode super smooth. I couldn't tell if it was better than the short version or not. I would probably have to drive both in the same day to get a feel for it.

Tan interior, but its in very nice shape. No weather tech mats or anything. Has all the amenities I'm looking for.

Wife said its too much a month though so I walked out of there without purchasing. I would just like to get your guy's opinion on this though.

Dealer came back with a price of $23,921 on vehicle, with an out the door price of 25k. What are your thoughts on this price?

I was told that's the lowest they can go as that price is already basically a zero profit price for them, which I'm sure was the sales lady just blowing smoke!

Overall thoughts on this?

Look into the black one for 16k?
Go for short red one?

I think in the long run, like everyone said, the XL would probably be better. Just being that its for me and It happened to be a great deal on a short version, I probably would jump on it.

That XL looks super clean. The one you posted above down here in Florida is pretty much the same condition it seemed other than being 2 years newer with same miles. The Denali will always command a higher price, just like the Escalade. Bigger motor and the badge.

With the family, the XL is a winner IMHO. Try to drive the other 2 if you can to compare all options and then narrow it down and pick one up. You seem to be almost there. Just need the tipping point to go over the edge.

The red one was damn near perfect. I just wish it had black interior, which isn't a deal breaker. My wife just didn't want to spend the extra 25 a month on a car payment for it.
