Yeah I would really agree with the XL being the best choice with the kids. I know that 25 out the door is not the best they can do. Go talk real numbers and make it happen. And $25 a month is like 3 Starbucks drinks so if you or your wife drink that then cut out 3 a month and have a nice Denali.

Lol, no Starbucks here bud.

I tried everything to get them to lower price. That's the best they can do I kept getting told. I said numerous times that I need to be in this range for it to work and I'll take it. It never got that low.

Any thoughts or ideas how to get them to come down on it?

If they really want you to buy, they will call you back in a day or two with a better deal. That's exactly what happened with my car. I drove 3 hours for my car and left without it. They called me about 3 days later and said we will give you the price you want, as my car had been in their lot for too long and they were desperate to make a deal. So if that dealership really wants to make a deal with you on it, they will probably call and lower the price tag. Check out the black xl and see if you like it's condition with the higher mileage.

So I would agree with the you left and wait thing. See if they call at all tomorrow if not you can call on the second day and say hey just curious if you have given any more thought to my offer? They will say yes come in and we'll make it work or no sorry and there is your answer. Also go look at the higher mile black XL and see. Just remember you are spending a lot of money so don't settle too much. Try and wait and get what you really want and don't have any regrets. XL FTW!!!

Alright so I looked up the NADA for the red XL. Rough trade in is 17,750 and clean trade in is 21,425, retail shows 24,300 so they are way to high on their price. Take those numbers to them if you want to and let them know you know what the vehicle is worth and your not willing to get screwed. I can never justify paying more for a vehicle than it's worth.

I brought that up. I used them numbers. She said those don't take into effect the one owner, the service history and the detailing and getting the truck ready for sell. She was giving me the whole schpeel.

The short red one sold last night I was told. So that one is out of the lineup.

Well she is full of a lot of BS the retail number figures all those things in and I'm sorry but one owner does not add 1.5K to the value of a vehicle. Honestly she seems like a complete tool and it would make me never want to shop there even if the vehicle was perfect. Or you find a different sales person and deal with them.

I received a call from the guest services earlier today and she asked what It would take for me to get into that car. I told her what I was looking to get and she said she would see what she could do.

The sales lady I worked with called back a couple hours later and said that my offer was the best they would do. That they were actually losing $500 on that deal.

I think its complete BS and she just doesn't really want to sell it. She kept saying on and on and on how much she just loved that truck and how she wanted it, so I don't know if that plays a part or not.

Anyway, I think that option is out. To keep hunting.
