I have a 2004 Tahoe and was thinking of picking up a 95 4x4 with a 6" rcs suspension lift, 3" body lift, 37" tires, 14 bolt ff rear axle, msd igniton, intake/exhaust upgrades, 137000 miles.

I just want some opinions/thoughts. How do people like this model. I don't know much about lifted trucks. I like hearing what others think and add them to my thoughts

Thanks!

Any pictures?

Check out the underside before you buy it. Check to see how the CV angles look, see if your front end parts are going to need replacing. How's the transmission? 95 4l60E's are known to be the worst 60E's ever. My guess is at 137k and having 37's on it, if it has not ever been rebuilt, it's on it's last leg.

How much is he asking? If the price is right, I'd consider it.

I'd ask what the gearing in the differentials is also....that plays right into the tranny with possible issues. But pictures will help too.

Looks pretty straight imo. Now, as long as it mechanically is sound. Don't think it's personally worth 4,500 though. Maybe 3,500-4,000 at most

Is the factory locker stronger in the 14 bolt than the G80 gov bomb that comes in our 10 bolts? That would be my concern

37" humvee tires are as cheap/cheaper than stock tires so don't add that to the value. No mention of lower gears. Front looks cranked pretty high.

Other than that it looks nice. I would buy gears for it.

I'd still like to know the gears. Has the rear axle that is ideal for wheeling. I don't like the fact it is 8 lug in the rear, 6 in the front.
