I wouldn't get both the 4000NEX and ipad mini.
It was either or.

Anybody know the answers to my questions before I pull the trigger.
Also debating on just getting an iSimple device and GN29 instead for bluetooh and motion unlock.

Im using the nex-8000, and I am so glad I got this one. The NEX line is amazing, and you will be happy with it I promise.

I went with the 8000 mainly because I know a guy and got it for a really good price. That, and I wanted all the features I could possibly get. I've already used Appradio, and mirrorlink for my iPhone. The maestro thing is supposed to get updated when the Apple for the car thing comes out in the summer.

The one thing I LOVED about it is there isn't any adaptors you need for the phones anymore. Its straight USB, and for mirrorlink USB/HDMI with the apple digital adaptor which I already had from my previous appradio3.

Anyway If you want photos, or a video, or anything let me know.

There is a bypass for the video in motion by the way without grounding wires, or adding chips. It's super easy to do as well.. so I'm not sure if thats a selling point for you or not.

do you have the Maestro RR module and if you do how well does the engine information show on the radio?
