That may sound funny, but I'm looking for a set of LED's for my overhead lights in my '08 that aren't going to burn retinas. I'd like something more dim (sorry dimmer sounds like dumber, just couldn't do it) than the stock bulbs. Everything I see is high-power this and 12-chip that. Anyone else find/use a dim or low-power LED for dome lighting?

You can get the normal led ones and put a smaller resistor. That will dim it as much as u want

You're probably right, I've just had about enough of resistors and ballasts and surgeprotectors. I just want something I can plug in and be happy with. I don't want to over-complicate this, especially since I have no experience. In wiring. I over-complicate like a pro.

OK I just found some contenders on 3b specialties website. They appear to have a really low lumen count. I'll update with pics when I get em in.
