Odd I know but I am looking to find a paint code for a mid 80's Suburban. It was a two tone brown (not the dark brown, but I remember it had more of an orange hue to it) and beige (almost almond in color) paint scheme. I am looking for both colors the brown and beige. I know it sounds weird but back in the late 80's my father had painted his Camaro Late Model stock car this beige color and the number outline was the brown. I am looking to reproduce this Late Model stock car in 1/24th scale and want to get as close to the paint as I can. Check out the pic and you'll see what I'm looking for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks to all in advance.

Gee now why didnt I think of that? Just kind of figured that a community dedicated to these specific vehicles would have been a better place to start rather than my local dealer which basically told me its too old to get a color code from which I know is BS seeing that I do a thing or two with cars.:chillpill:

Have a day.

if you can somehow get your hands on those burbans, or any GM of that generation and color you can get the code. The junkyards a start, try visiting a few body/paint shops. not sure if they can give you the exact code but they can match up pretty well.
