Hi all. I am new to the forums and Yukon world in general. I am looking to get into a good used 07/08 Yukon XL to accommodate a growing family. There isn't much out there in terms of somewhat lower mileage vehicles in this year/price class. I am looking for something around 80-90,000 miles. I would be much obliged if some of you that have these vehicles could share a little of your knowledge about them regarding :
1) trouble issues to look out for
2) repairs that should have been done with this mileage
3) anything you have experienced with this year range that I should be aware of
4) what would be the max miles you would be ok with in this year range?

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

The right vehicle with the miles you're looking for will show up. It just takes time and effort to find it. Here in socal when I was looking for my nbs was a year and a half long search. Everything had high miles. But the no,to that I found my,car I found like 5 denalis that all had the right amount of miles I was looking for. So they are there you jsut have to know where and how to look.

Would you guys consider 120,000 a reasonable mileage for this year? I know a lot depends on past maintenance but in a general sense, is this too much?

That's not terrible. But it's not low either. In that mileage range it's all going to come down to past maintenance and how well it's previous owners have taken care of it. With that many miles there's going to be some things that need to be replaced and you should keep that in mind when looking at a yukon.

What's your opinion on this guy?

Seems somewhat reasonable to me, but like I said, I'm new to the Yukon platform. If it were a Ford 7.3, it would be a different story:)

I did not know it was possible to option a Denali without a moonroof and navigation. Not that I don't believe it's a Denali, just seems a little fishy to me. Perhaps someone with more experience with Yukons/Denalis can give more information.

That is sort of weird. It does have the right engine and tranny apparently though. The carfax states that it was actually purchased in 06, so maybe it was an early design that was changed???
