Everybody loves exhaust threads so here's another one.
Ok, the current setup is Long tubes, tiny "performance cats", massive Flopro 2500, and dual 3" out the back. It's so quiet I hear the fans and the lifters over the exhaust. In fact, unless you crouch by the tips the exhaust is basically silent. Even at WOT I hear engine grunt more than exhaust.
My goal is to still have a quiet truck but a tad more cam sound at idle, no drone, and not annoying.
Right now my thoughts are Magnaflow 12599 to replace the Flopro but the PO told me it droned so if it does I can throw in some small resonators or J tubes.
Another option is some big single in/out mufflers keeping the exhaust completely separate from each other where the Flopro and Magnaflow 12599 have an x pipe built-in.
The final option is the best but also considerably more expensive. Dual 3" cutouts before the Flopro but that will be so ridiculously loud I probably won't open them much.
