Lowering Questions

[UGA Tahoe]

First, I am a new member. Also some may notice I have been asking questions about all kinds of installation mods for our truck. Mainly because I cannot figure out where I want to start. Sometimes I want to drop it, other times I want to save a little more cash and get some new wheels and other times I want to put some good fast goodies on it.

Anyways, I have some more questions about lowering.

First I have a 05 tahoe LT with HD shocks. If I drop it, I will be going with the Belltech 2/3 with spindles.

First question is how would ride quality be? I really love how smooth my ride is and don't want it to feel like crap.

Second, After lowering will an alignment shope be able to get it properly aligned?

Third, Will a lowering kit make my tires wear faster?

cant say for your year, but others will chime in. As for me, Rides almost stock, a little stiffer in the rear, Front exactly the same. I aligned mine no problems, as for tire wear, if your alignment is fine, tires wont wear faster than normal. Just Remember to rotate Rotate ROTATE for best trad life and prevent scalloping
