LQ4 or LQ9

Im ready to swap my motor and i know ive read about these 6.0's but cant remember which is a better choice that will work great with my setup..

low comp allows far more boost.

LQ4 unless you are wanting to build a fordged bottomend.. to run high comp and a fair amount of boost..

How much more boost can i run with a LQ4? im at 10lbs now on my 5.3

tottaly dependent on your tune, and how like the pistons hold....

r these the only motors that will swap with my Tahoe? Can the tbss motor swap right in and work with all my bolt ons?

the short block can, but nuthin else is pure plug n play.

You would be bes off, ARP'ing rods, crank and heads and swapping in some good pistons into a LQ4.

You will push that 1900 close to max.

Doesnt the LQ9 have more HP then the LQ4

NA, yess.. its a point or 2 higher in comp..

But you have a TVS1900, lower comp is ideal for higher boost that your looking for...

wouldnt it be the same HP as the LQ9 if i put the LQ4 with a lil more boost and get a safe tune without blowing it up ??
