LS-3 Cam In A 5.3 ???

Is it true if you install a cam from an LS-3 you'll get more HP?
Has anyone here done that? If so how did it perform and what was the gas mileage? I still have the stock LS-3 cam I took out from my 2013 Camaro, so I was just curious.

You won't get as much horse power as if you were to do a cam spec'd for your truck.
