LS2 Manifold on an LR4 engine

Heard on a 4x4 show that you can swap an LS2 manifold for the stock mani on any Gen III small block, including my LR4 (Vortec 4.8).

1. Is this true? Easy enough for the w/e DIY'er?
2. Decent performance gain?
3. Instructions anywhere?

Ls2 truck or car manifold??

Either one can be swapped..The car manifold will hurt your low end alot but will make more hp up top...
