so talked to my buddy with a tbss and he was showing me how his auto ride is adjustable and that I "might" be able to replicate the procedure on my tahoe with auto ride.
Saw a short film made by tony NorCal that shows how you can adjust the rear of a tbss 2" by loosening a bolt on each side and manually moving the adjustment bar then tightening up to that setting.
So my question is , do you think it's possible on our full sizes? I've searched but found nothing. If it is possible I would assume that I would find something about it online.

Yes, this is a common mod that people make to their Autoride trucks. You don't move the sensor, you shorten the rod for it. Take your sensor rod off the truck, pull the ball caps off and then get the right size diameter all thread or bolt and cut the head off to make a stud. Obviously, make them shorter than the original and thread your ball caps back onto your new stud. You can make a couple of different lengths and try them to see what works best as far as ride height and quality. Be sure to drive the truck around for a while after replacing the rods to give the suspension a chance to adjust properly. Also, without lowering springs you're not going to get much lower. Your friends TB SS has airbags in the rear instead of springs, so I imagine they can adjust ride height more than we can.

I did this mod after installing lowering springs; the Belltech kit came with the links but they were still too long so I shortened them more. I don't think you'll get it to lower much without springs , etc. and then you need to do what's called the free travel mod so you're not hitting on the bumpstops. Our rigs aren't quite that easy to lower.

I just want to remove the auto ride system all together. Out dated and too many miles on it to be a viable upgrade in today's trucks. Wonder how it would effect my resale ?
I've been on the fence about keeping it but today I realized I want it gone

I don't know if it would effect resale, depends on how savvy the buyer is. I replaced my shocks and compressor with aftermarket and have my rig lowered running 26's and without it I'd be screwed every time I towed my trailer. I love how I can maintain a narrow fender gap no matter if I have 1 person, 8 people, trailer or no trailer. The other day I hauled 1 1/2 tons of yard debris in my trailer to the recycling center and never had to worry about scraping a tire. I know there are helper bags out there that can be installed but I don't want that hassle. You'll need different rear springs from what I've heard if you remove and disable the system. And helper bags if you haul a lot of weight or tow. Many people do it though.

Then your autoride isn't working anyway. You just answered your own question. Since it isn't working might as well remove it. But you're not going to affect anything including ride height.

The autoride works, I keep the bags at 5 psi until I tow. Which I only tow a small pop up trailer during summer and that's it.

If your auto ride works then there's no need for airbags; that's exactly what the rear autoride shocks are, they're airbags with shocks.I just towed a trailer with 1 1/2 tons of yard debris and I have 1 1/2" of fender clearance with or without a trailer. As soon as I loaded it and started my truck, it adjusted the height automatically, so I don't understand why there would be helper bags in yours unless the airbags in your shocks have holes in them. Anyway, good luck with whatever you're trying to do.

Lol its hard to explain. I understand how autoride works but I didn't install the helper bags. Previous owner did and hauled some heavy toys. Like any other half ton I'm guessing it would sag and put extreme pressure on the air shocks aND max them out. Used the air shocks and air bags in combination for towing the big toys
