Lug Nut Lock Key Location?

Hello All:

I just bought a 2012 Tahoe last month and have a quick question about the location of the lug nut lock key location (I googled it up and down and found nothing). I have the 22 inch chrome chevy wheels on my truck and on each rim it has the applicable lug nut lock/key on it. I just pulled my tire iron, jack, etc and found nothing in regards to this key.

Can someone let me know where this is stored. The previous owner had ALL the work done by the dealer, from what I can tell that was the first time that jack was even taken out...

Thanks for any help in advance - just trying to get the process down in my driveway opposed to a interstate at 10pm

your guess is as good is as ours. locks are added and don't come standard so they could be under the seat or in the previous owners sock drawer. If they are mcguard (factory) locks you can take a good picture and they have a system that figures out the proper key. its like 20 bucks for a replacement key.

Worst case scenario take it to a rim shop. They can probably get it off with a hammer and socket wrench. Then just buy a new set.

Have you checked glove box or center console?

Guys - thanks for the responses (this forum rocks).

I just found it (in the center console) taped the bottom of one of the bubble wrapped pair of head phones for the TV. I never looked close enough on the bottom of those. Appreciate all the responses bros!
