Many kits on the markets for the 6.2s are only 3". OEM is 3.5 inches so when looking at a cat back for the 6.2 keep that in mind. Magnaflow is only company that offers a 3.5" for the 15 up 6.2s and others like borla for the 5.3 are only 2.75 and cost more.

OEM Muffler Replacement 6.2

Just like in the 07-14 6.2 the muffler swap is a great bang for buck option Oem piping is pretty big from factory and just like my add for the 07-14 you can do the same for 15 up 6.2 (for 5.3 please contact me I have those also) the oem piping does have kinks on entry and bend over axle

Here is the link for the older 07-14 install which you can do for the new 6.2s

Link to muffler which works on the new 15 up 6.2s also.

Does the muffler swap void any warranties?

Nope. I'd remove the flapper and resonator as well or it might not be loud enough though!

On the 15 up it is behind the muffler. 07 to 14s do not have it
