Map Light Issues

Here's a question for you guys: all the map lights in my truck work, except the ones at the very front of the overhead console. When I hit the buttons to turn them on, nothing happens. But, if I push on the clear lens of the light, it moves in 1/8 inch and the light comes on. If I let go, the lens moves back out and the light turns off.

Any ideas? I'm thinking that maybe the bulb might have just come loose out of the socket, so when I push on the lens, it reseats the bulb in the socket and it turns on.

Also, another question that is probably really stupid, how do I change these bulbs? I've been wanting to switch over to LED's, but do I have to take the whole console down?

Mine did the same thing... I took them apart and cleaned and bent the contacts and they work. However they still act up from time to time...

Thanks. So do you have to take the whole console down, or is there a way to get to just the lights?

I pulled it down to do it...
