Hey guys I just wanted to post a fix to a issue i had that may help someone else. I got a 04 tahoe with powerfold mirrors an electric pedals. The past year my window button barely works. I can’t even move or adjust my mirrors. Yesterday I took the switch apart an cleaned all the pads with alcohol. It’s like brand new now. I can also adjust mirrors now. Maybe this will help someone.

I have never really taken parts off a car, but would like to try this. Are there some clips or releases for the arm rest?

What year?

The door panels differ over the years. 2003-2006 you need to remove the door panel or the switch bezel breaks since there's a screw behind the door card holding it in place. Ask me how I know. And IIRC, for 2000-2002 the switch bezel comes out with only clips.
