For those that have wondered what the primary suspension differences are...here are 2: pics of left and right rear showing Air Shocks and Automatic Compressor Housing (Left Side)

I have the build sheet and have compared some of the RPO's. It appears that Max Tow also gets 3:42 Ring and pinion, Trailer Brake Controller, Severe Fleet Service Brakes, HD Fleet Service Oil Cooler and HD Fleet Service Transmission Cooler. That's a lot of upgrade for $450 !!

Also gets a two-speed transfer case for 4wd with neutral and 4wd low.

Seems as though the rear springs are different.

Trans is also different somehow--at least the replacement units carry different pn's, maybe because of the t-case...?

This is the reason why I got the max trailer package since I was getting the 5.3.

any idea what the max weight the self leveling is meant to "lift". I don't want to over do it.

I don't know for sure...but being rated to tow 8500# and 10% tongue weight being recommended...seems that 850# would be the max.

I would like to know this as well. I would like to do a 2/3 drop but was curious if the auto compressor would interfere. I also had a thought about putting a switch that would allow me to turn on or off the auto compressor. I'd like it to be level while not towing my boat, but not squat with the boat attached.

Any thoughts from the suspension gurus?
