Had a question about the Mcgaughy's 2/3 lowering kits for my 09 Tahoe. Last year I bought a Mcgaughys 2/3 kit (front spindles and rear springs) for my 08 Tahoe LT (no autoride). But I never used the kit...stayed in storage the whole time. Yesterday I traded in my 08 LT for an 09 LTZ w/ autoride. I was told that the kits for the autoride and non-autorides are different. I believe I have the 30008 kit and now I need the 30009 kit. Whats teh difference in the kits. Can I just buy the parts for my 30008 to make it a 30009 kit? Or should I sell my kit and buy a new 30009 kit?

Thanks for the help in advance!

They should be about the same, the sensor rods may need shortening though.

The spring rate is different. I have a 30009 kit i just took off of a Denali. I would be willing to trade out rear springs with you.

Hey Stumpdog....is that the only difference? How long was your springs used for? are there numbers on the spring? Where are you located at? Can you email me at [email protected] so we can swap phone numbers.

Thanks,
Jason
