I ended up replacing all four calipers, pads, and rubber brake hoses. I’m still getting the drag on the brakes… but it’s not all the time I drive. I’ve done the brake pedal test and check the check valve on the booster. There are no signs of the booster or the master cylinder “leaking” but see that there could be internal seals that could be creating vacuum leaks. Has anyone else out there had this issue? What was your fix? 02 Tahoe LS 4x4

Not sure if your rig has guide pins? I have the next gen from yours. I had the same problem after new hardware. My pins were new and I greased them correctly but my right front kept dragging. It took me 3 tries to get it right. Very frustrating but all good now.

Yes they do and I greased them all to add from what was there from the factory. I just got a new master cylinder in so I’m going to now do process of elimination. Hopefully the MC does the trick… or not then a new brake booster. I mean hell… all else has been replaced!

What did you do all three times?

Did you exchange the complete brake fluid and bleed the system correct?
