Greetings all...I've got a stock heigth 99 2dr 4wd Tahoe that I changed to the Sport model with 122k miles. I've upgraded a few things that include a Hellwig rear swaybar, K&N air, Flowmaster exhaust and performance front brakes.
I winter in Mexico and between the cobblestones and general street conditions, it rides like a tank.
It has been my primary tow vehicle with 80lb tires, which has helped it ride like a tank so first off I'm getting some regular spec tires at 42lb which will help somewhat (Goodrich P245/75R16 109T ORWL Long Trail T/A Tour). It still has the factory springs and leafs and I replaced the OEM Bilsteins at 90k with Bilsteins.

I'd like to know how I can create a luxury suspension for this vehicle.
Thanks, ED

I would say goiing from a 10 ply tire with 80 psi in it to a P metric road tire such as the Long Trail with 42 psi in it should make a pretty big difference. The P metric tire will be a bit softer and should absorb more from the road. If it still isn't soft enough, go with a set of softer shocks like bow tie said. Maybe even air shocks in the rear?

Thanks guys, I'm thinking along the same lines.
I just want to take the guess work out of the solution.

Soft ride shocks sound good, so does air shocks. I haven't been able to find any sort of spec for shocks that determine wether they are soft or hard. If I had a value for the Bilsteins I could compare. The Rancho 9000xl adj. air shocks sound good but the Rancho web-site shows a graph where the 9000's start out at OEM spec and get stiffer! I want the OEM spec in the middle or so of the adj shock range but can't find any kind of value/spec table that allows a comparison of various shocks.
I was hoping that another Hoe owner had softened up their ride and has a working solution to offer.
