Mod That Intake?

You can mod that "inferior" intake to be just like the megabuck ones. Just add a little insulating material to the inside of the box and lid and add foam to seal any gaps between the airbox and body work. Block that heat!

What kind of material did you use and where did you get it from? I have the same intake and would like to do the same thing. Did you notice a difference via OBD II reader? :hmmm2:

AC insulating foam from Lowe's attached with Weldwood contact glue, also from Lowe's. Don't have to worry with a lot of heat inside that airbox. Seal any gaps open to the engine area.
