So I bought two new AC Delco versions of this servo motor, one for my mode selection and the other for the temperature selection. I replaced the mode door actuator today (which is VERY easy) and there's still somewhat of a delay in mode selection, specifically when selection the forward (face) mode. It only seems to happen when needing to fully rotate the knob from defrost to face mode. When it happens I can here the little flap in the dash working. Is that normal? I followed the instructions and did NOT touch anything when replacing the unit and I also made sure the truck and controls were off. How hard is it to replace the other actuator behind the glove box? Thank you!

Have you tried toreset it. Turn to cold, turnoff, remove negative cable for 10 minutes. Replace cable and turn back on?

I have not. Should I have done this initially? Would it be screwed up since I didn't do this?

No it wouldn't be screwed up. You can try it now. Search on here for specific "how to" but I pretty much summed it up on what to do

Alright. Thanks a lot. Any info on the temperature actuator behind the glove box?

Also, was I supposed to line up the white plastic rod with the position of the new actuator or not touch the part inside the dash at all? The actuator just slid onto the white shaft without me moving anything so I assumed it was fine.
