Hey guys I was just trying to get my engine a little more horsepower. I have the 350 TBI and my tahoes from 95. I heard about swapping the heads out for vortec heads but i was wondering what else I could do to it? Thanks

unknown at this time.
There are kits from cheap to pricey that do anything from adding a TBI spacer to changing over to a full Multi-Point Fuel Injection system. How far are you willing to go?

simple and quick, grab a timing light and bump your timing up 4 degrees.
You will feel the change.

Dont go no more than 4 If you dont know what to listen for, to hear detonation, dont go past 4.5 as bad fuel will ruin your day.

Buy a true phenolic TBI spacer and injector pod spacer. you will feel a change.
pop on some 1.65 roller rockers.

Wheny ou do the vortec swap, buy the CARB version of the intake! the TBI is JUNK!
buy a carb to tbi adapter that has the nice aerodymanic ports, slip on your spacer above it and go.
Yo might find you dont need your spacer anymore..

Thanks for the replies I'm not looking to spend more than a couple hundred bucks so what you think is in that price range?

best bang for the buck for a "cpl hundred" would be muffler, CAI, phenolic spacers, tune up , bump timing and a tune..
Theres guys on here that can reprogram your chip for ya...

If it was me, I would do head, intake swap and tune, you will see far better gains from just that then any combo of bolt on parts.. but thats alil more than a cpl hundred bucks.. more like 600.
