What are you guys using to remove your side modlings?
I have seen the 3m stripe off wheels. Does anyone have any experience with them?
What are some other methods to remove them?
Has anyone tried fishing line? I had heard about that to, hah.

Thanks

I use a heat gun (or a blow dryer), plastic body trim tools and a eraser wheel. I've tried the fishing line method but never really worked for me.

I just did my couple weeks ago. I just used fishing line to get them off and then used the 3M eraser wheel to get the tape and goo off. The eraser wheel def. made the job alot easier. After the wheel, used a little rubbing alcohol to wipe completely clean.

The eraser wheel works great, takes a little getting used to. You may be scared of damaging your paint at first, but mine turned out fine.

Thanks guys, I appreciate your time and info.
Looks like I have several ways and all at the tips of my fingers, hah.
Looks like I'll be ordering a stripping wheel, seems to be the easiest way.

Thanks again

I used fishing line and goo gone on my 2005 Ram to remove the moldings. Once everything was off, I washed the truck, and waxed the hell out of the truck, and did an extra coat on the areas that I used goo gone. Trick with goo gone, is to let it ********* the adhesive, usually took about 5-10 minutes once put on the material.

Goo Gone isnt working on mine! But yet, I also didnt put the goo gone on before pulling the molding lol! Eh.... Just extra elbow grease to remove the glue & remainder of that foam crap.
