MONROE vs BILSTEIN

Sorry... I posted this on the wrong forum...

I am looking to change my struts on my truck. It has the autoride suspension however I have 2 choices. Either to keep the OE Monroe w/autoride which is around the ball park of $500.00 or Bilstein which is $100 less ($400.00). I want to make this a good decision, so I want to know what experiences if any does anyone have w/the air ride Bilstein? I did like the Monroe shocks on my truck as the shocks kept it smooth and kept the wheels in contact with the road....

Any and all input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!.

I haven't used Monroe, but have Bilsteins and love them.

OT: what rims do you have, they look like mine?

If you do not use or want the Autoride, I would go Bilsteins.

Well they have Bilstein with the autoride... I was thinking of going that route. I know the stock autoride utilizes the Monroes...
