i have the 02 yukon Denali with the Bose System....i went in today to the Local FutureShop in Moncton NB and asked for a Wire Harness part number gm02B..I was told i had to buy a 250.00 Wire Harness to make my Stereo work..he said if i didnt buy the harness i would have to rewire the whole truck System,,as in the Speakers and everything else...Just wanted to check in with you Fine People and Make sure that i am not being taken for 250.00....ive got the Bose System with the On-star..I dont really use on-star or dont care about the Chime Thingy...just want to change the stereo system to a DD Dvd Player...

If you also have On Star, I believe this is the harness you're going to need. $250 is over double what it is from sonicelectronix.com but I'm pretty sure you're going to need this harness, otherwise you'll run into many problems. (I did in my 2006 Silverado)

Im not sure about everyone else's truck but I have an 03 and I installed a Pioneer 4200 in mine and I didnt need any harness at all and my truck still functions the same minus the chimes. The only time I needed a harness was when I had an aftermarket amp and subs hook up to my factory hu
