Mpg question

I have an 02 tahoe and was wondering if headers would increase my fuel economy? I know ill get more power just didn't know I anyone out there saw an increase in mpg. I already have BB exhaust CAI

Just be sure to get ceramic coated.

for aprox 3 months your MPG will be cut in half due to your insatiable need for that Roar and power. then your mpg will slowly climb back up to normal, depending on your tune you might gain a few mpg, but I doubt it as you will go through the relapse of wanting to hear the exhaust and feel the power again..

So.... No your MPG will not go up. LOL

If you go with midlengths or LTs, yes worth it.. Stay away from shorties...

Just curious why do you want to stay away from shorties??? Is there no real gain over the factory manifolds???

Also I assume you want ceramic for heat containment?

Sorry to ask what is prob an obvious answer but I'm at work and curious

If you compare shorties to stock manifolds, they are virtually the same dimensions. Spending $500+ for minimal gains would be horsing money at the wrong parts. Could do a cam swap and see much better gains.
