when you watch your MPG's via the computer, do you watch the MPG's on the PERSONAL screen, or the AVG MPG's.

I ask because I towed my mini-truck for the first time this weekend from St. Louis to Lake of the Ozarks and the PERSONAL shows 13 MPG (after a reset) and the AVG MPG shows 17.1.

I keep the average total going all the time so i know how I've done over my life of the vehicle. I reset the personal every tank to see what i get from tank to tank. If your average is 17.1 that's pretty awesome. And 13 while towing isn't bad either.

Average usually sits just at 18.8 or so...I'm happy with that

I keep the AVG running, even when my dad had the 5.3 yukon in 2003. He did a lot of highway driving, so the average is a bit skewed from what I drive. I get about 14 in city, highway isn't confirmed at but is probably easily over 18 with the AIRAID and Corsa put on.

I also keep one running for long term tracking, and reset one per tank. Or if I'm curious about a stretch of highway, etc.

Best I've seen is 18 MPG on the freeway, and managed to hit 12.0 MPG while towing a 6000 lb trailer.

I should consider a tune.
