I've got an 08 Denali with the powdered running boards and would like to put a set of mud flaps on all around. I did a search and came across some info but some was old. Some say it cannot be done but a few have said that it can be done???

Are there certain make and model flaps that would better or does a guy have to modify the running boards some how? I would prefer not having to modify the boards but honestly I'm open to any suggestions or advice

Thanks in advance!!!

The back are not an issue and you can use pretty much any Tahoe/Yukon compatible splash guard out there. The front are where it's a tight squeeze, but I've seen some folks manage to squeeze thin ones in there by pushing back the running boards about an inch (they are adjustable back and forward by unscrewing the hex scores that hold them to the assembly). It's not a great look but they are functional. So far as I know you definitely can't use the OE accessory molded ones up front.

Thanks guys!!

Not sure if I would go with the factory molded ones anyways as all I hear, they scuff the paint. I was actually looking at some generic GM ones that fit several models from pickups to SUV's.

I guess I'll just have to see if I can get those to work on the front, if not then I guess I just go without for the front.
