I currently have Viper 791xv alarm system and it works great and never have had an issue with it. My only complaint is I want the siren to be louder.
The Tahoe usually sits in the garage but for those rare occasions I picked up 3 more DEI 514n sirens. Give a total of 4 sirens. I know the brain put out 12v to siren.
My question is when installing these can I splice straight off the existing siren or do I need to tap in a relay at the 12v and feed the sirens off that?
I am thinking I do need relay & I got an idea on how to do this but was hoping for more experienced information to keep me from screwing anything up. thx.
