My 07 Avalanche LS to SS Conversion

Well, I am new to this site, looks promising. So I though I'd introduce myself & my truck. I was referred here by member "tast101".

I'm "07AvySS" from Tampa Bay area, FL

My current vehicle is a 2007 Chevy Avalanche LS 5.3L - Victory Red 2WD
I took on a ssslllooowwww process of a project of converting her over to the model that GM should have built....Avalanche SS.

I have done quite a few modifications so far, but the future mod list goes on...as I'm sure all of you know...the current economy has put a temporary hold on mods.

very badass man, I was going to say take the ss badges off but then I saw the plan for a maggie so its all good, swap a 6.0 in there then fi ftw

ps no reason for a tb spacer on these trucks

No way. I drive over 2K miles a month, had too much bug & rock damage. Plus I like the headlight covers on there. Eventually when I replace the lenses with new ones (long story), and add red demon eye kit & strobes, I probably won't use the covers much.

I am very happy with the Predator tuner. My g/f bought it for me as an anniv gift. I get better MPGs, pickup, idle, and it just runs way better in general.

Yeah, I am saving up for the S/C, it'll be a while. But not all SS models had S/C, so I'm safe. If GM made an SS, I wouldn't have done this. I don't believe is making something that's it's not. Since they don't make an SS, I made one for them. LOL

I have heard mixed reviews on the TB spacer. I'm happy with the Volant CAI, Predator, and Magnaflow exhaust.
