they are fresh, just couple days after i bought it one of the fogs went out so i bought a new set. they're yellow and they suck, no detectable pattern in any weather conditions

Alright. I put plain old Phillips 5202s in mine when one burned out and run them all the time at night and they've been great for these old eyes. They're 24 watts each and this pair have been on the truck for 2 1/2 years so far.

I changed over to JDM Astar LED fog lights, and I am quite happy with them. So much so, that I converted all incandescent bulbs, inside and outside, to JDM Astar LEDs.

hey y'all ;)
so my stock fog lights are in name only... I can't see any difference when they're turned on, i can only see a little bit of light on the ground just in front of the truck when i peek over the hood, that is all

is there an aftermarket option? or can they be adjusted to aim a little bit higher? Dealer tells me there is no adjustment for them... I'm not sure if upgrading the bulbs will help, seems like the stock light pattern in these is, well, crappy...

You don't want the fog lights to shine up high, they are designed to shine right over the driving surface so you can see during a fog!

I don’t now if you’ve seen this video on YouTube. Check it out. I’m thinking about purchasing a set of LED fog light bulbs from them.

i am sure you can find a load of aftermarket fog lamps for your tahoe on line . I know i have seen some particularly for your ride / round style type in led and projector . I went ahead and bought a pair of led 7" light bars and mounted them where the original fog lamps go. Super bright!!!! Had them for quite some time and they are still lighting up the night.IMG-9866.jpg led.jpg IMG-9866.jpg led.jpg IMG-9866.jpg

100% of all stock fog lights are like this. Take them out entirely, replace with LED bars. Once you see the price of the really good LED bars or cubes that will fit in those places, you will realize that your desire to use a FOG LIGHT as a headlight is a waste of money. Fog lights are not supposed to be bright... they're supposed to provide light immediate in front and to the side without causing glare... in fog. And, quite frankly, most of the time they're cosmetic anyway.
