Have a 95 K1500 Tahoe 4 door, the truck primarily sits, regular oil changes every 3-4k miles. I checked the oil today due to it sitting and i drove it and played in the snow. Checked the oil, fairly low. Lucas high mileage added during oil changes truck has 240k on it runs very well, doesn’t drip any fluid that i can see. I can’t see it burning 3-4 quarts of oil “beating” on it a lil bit when i was playin in the snow. Prior to that the truck sat for atleast a month, starting once a week just to get the fluids moving. Is there anywhere else the oil could go or is just not settling into the oil pan because of the Lucas oil. No drop in oil pressure from the cluster, I know those gauges can be wonky and to adapt an actual gauge to it. Runs fine doesn’t miss, doesn’t tick or clunk. Also checked the level about 15-20 minutes after turning truck off.

Let the truck sit overnight and see if the oil goes up any. If there are no external leaks and you don't think it's burning the oil pull the valve covers and see if it's hiding there. Common to have plugged oil drain backs on SBC engines. If you pull some spark plugs take a look and see if they look like they are burning oil.
