My 2007 Yukon's camera went black, I assume it's the module because unplugging and replugging the module made it go gray line fuzz.
So I got a replacement camera that is 12v and works great, has back-up lines and has an RCA plug. (THIS ONE: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006N5C0O0/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1).
All I want to do is plug the new camera wires into the head unit.
Problem is my head unit/nav doesn't have an RCA jack like some do I understand. My head unit is (15882766) and I've been searching and came up with *maybe* I can wire into this brown connector and I've even seen a (camera adaptor) that might be right. BUT, there are already wires coming from the underseat module up to the head unit, why can't i just plug in there? (someone mentioned the blue wire somewhere).
REALLY I just want to specifically know which wire(s) in which connector or which wires I can splice into to plug my new camera in, which is easier than ordering the adaptor, which I'm not sure is necessary or correct for reverse when you already have one.
My head unit and underseat box images are attached -- if that helps explain anything... thanks so much for any help!
