Navi on 2nd screen

I think I have figured it's possible to send the video from a 2din Kenwood/Pioneer Navi HU. But is it possible to use the touchscreen on the 2nd screen to control the navi? Or to you have to put it back up on the main screen?

If I should be looking somewhere specific for this info, please point me in the right direction. Thanks.
