Hi everyone,

I need advice on for my 2011 tahoe Z71 for upgrading to readylift HD long travel suspension kit which replaces the upper & lower arm controls, tie rods and CV axles with fox by pass shocks all corners, which would allow me to have 2.5" of increased wheel track width per side.

Now i want to know will there be any modification to be done or it is realy a bolt on installation?

Will the front fenders have to be replaced to accomoded for the 2.5" increased wheel track width?

And want to know will the vehicle performance be effected or increased and how will be the ride on & off road.

Has anyone done this setup to their vehicles?

Advices on this matter will be very thankful.

Sorry I don't have any answers for you but I like the way you're thinking! Adjustable coilovers are the way to go.

This would be cool to see, but I have not seen this on any of the Tahoe/Yukon forums. Try the GM fullsize forum for review on trucks.

IMO having seen this done for other trucks, the front fenders will need to be trimmed or have custom fenders made especially when getting wider tires. Not sure if Silverado fiberglass pre-runner type fenders will fit. Hopefully the upper control arms are the uniball type to take advantage of the extended travel and prevent suspension binding.

Either way, the Fox setup should provide a better ride on and off-road. Just curious, is this for looks or do you actually wheel it in rough/fast off-road conditions? I have ICONs on my FJ and the ride is much better in all driving conditions. Corners more flatty on road, and plush off-road. Cannot be beat coil overs :driver:.

Here's a pic of the coil overs and UCAs on my FJ.

Hopefully you get this done and can post some pics.
