Need advice/Suggestions

I'm planning on taking my 96 2door Tahoe out to Ocotillo Wells, CA in the upcoming future and I would like to know what kind of setup should I have in mind if I want to survive out there. Ocotillo is a huge barren desert land with lots of sand and uneven ground. I'm looking for suggestions on what I should set my suspension to. Something that could be easily undone for normal everyday use as well

nothing can be easliy undone. get a 6" lift like a cepek and go to town.

Have you been there yet? What about your current setup didn't work for you?

Ive gone to other OHVs and my suspension is just way too rough. I may just need to replace my shocks though. I've got a pretty used set of KYB Gas-A-Just.
