1999 Tahoe 4door dual air... It's holding a charge, and the compresser clicks on for like 5 seconds and then clicks off for like 15 seconds then back on and so fourth...air does not blow cold in the front or back...and there's no condensation on the back lines like it would when it worked fine...HELP...is the orffice tube clogged or what?

It's short cycling. How do you know that the right amount of charge is in there?

No neither line gets cold they are both getting hot...and when I added freon the gauge went up to the desired level and when the compressor engages the level goes down and when the compressor goes off after 3-5 seconds the level goes back up to the previous level and keeps this up... The lines are staying hot and the air blows a little warm I'm stumped please I need air it's hot here I'm melting...lol

If your pressure is dropping below the "green" zone when it's on you don't have enough charge in there.

I found out that my high side valve was leaking... I hit the valve a couple of times then put in 60 oz. Of freon and voala it's super cold...
