need brighter for 07 tahoe smoked out lights

i have a 07 tahoe i just smoked out my headlights.What is a good light to put in this to make the headlights brighter.I like how the headlights turned out don't want to have to sand them down and repaint them.what are the hid lights i hear people talking about to thanks
