Need Gauge Repair!

1997 Tahoe... The amp meter and gas meter are not correct... Can this sealed unit be sent out for repair? I have checked the senders... Thx.. Mark

Yes just look online for an instrument repair facility. How did you get an amp meter on yours or did you mean volts.

You are correct... Volt.... I searched but it seems only the later years have anyone who care...

Do you know exactly what is wrong with them in terms of what they are doing?

The volt reads 9 when the output is 14 and the gas is 1/3 higher than the actual level in the tank... Goes well above full on the scale when the tank is full

Remove the cluster and look for corroded or dirty connector or ground wires first.
