Im in the middle of installing a 2/3 drop. The rear went perfect and took about an hour. I pulled the drivers side strut, compressed the spring and went to remove the top nut and strut just puked oil everywhere. Obviously I'm doing something wrong and ruined the strut. How do I remove the nut and proceed? This is on a 2008 Yukon Denali with rear air shocks and the fronts just had the electrical connector. YouTube and a search on here isn't giving me any answers.

You needed to keep the shaft from spinning with the nut.
