need help asap on transmission swap

I have a 2004 suburban that the transmission is gone in. I also have a transmission out of a 2003 tahoe. Both 4wd 4l60e. I'm getting mixed responses on whether it's a direct swap or not. Can anybody tell me some solid info on this? One garage tells me that 2004 , is a year specific trans but searching Google is telling me that 99-06 are all the same. Any help is greatly appreciated!

It should be a directed swap as long as they are the same trans and not a 4l60vs4l60e

The only thing that is different is the P/N switch.

Up until 2003 the switch used two plugs, 2004 harness used one plug. Both switches look almost the same

You need to get a new switch.
