Hi All!
I’ve had HL Alenzas and Defenders…what smooth and quiet tire do you recommend? I care most about comfort. Ty!!

The Defenders will offer the best ride in any size usually. If they are not riding smooth, it's time for some suspension work. Or time for P275-70-18s!

You did not state what road surfaces you typically drive on. If it is primarily paved roads, then Michelin Defenders are the way to go, IMO. If you do a lot of off-roading, there are other options available.

I have Continental Cross Contact LX 25, 285/45-r22 on my 18 Suburban. They are comfortable, quiet and wear very well. I have about 36k miles on them and they are wearing evenly currently at7/32", rotated every 6K miles and running at 37 psi. They are great in dry and wet and very good in snow.

I’m considering downsizing from my factory 22’s.. I live in New England. Been having problems with a vibration at highway speeds.
