I know a silverado is not a tahoe or a yukon but it has the same interior as our OBS if that helps. I hope you guyz can help me here it goes.

1995 Chevy Silverado C1500 EXT Cab.

After reading up on the truck i found out that the doorlock type is a revere polarity if does not have keyless entry but if it has keyless entry its a positive trigger doorlocks. I took the vin to the dealer and they told me that it had keyless entry from factory but im not sure thought because i only see 2 black wire harnesses in the kick panal and i cant seem to find the keyless module for the keyless entry can anybody else tell me how to test for reverse polarity and what to look for if it has keyless entry i dont want to mess up the wiring in the truck so that is why im asking the ?. Also i cant find the 4pin connector with the violet wire for my all door trigger.

Hope some of you installers in the forum can help me.

Thanks

the locks are goin to be reverse polarity and you hook it up like this... lock is light blue and unlock is white is drivers kick coming from the harness from the door...you need 2 relays and wire them like this

86 and 87 on both relays go to 12volt constent
85 is lock on 1 relay and unlock on the other relay
then you need to cut the lock wire in half and run the switch side to 87a on lock relay
and the motor side goes to 30 on the lock relay
(switch side will turn power when you hit the lock button)
then you do the same for the unlock relay

door trigger will be white at the under dash light

Thanks but after i went to the dealer to ask for the picture of the keyless entry module and spent bout half hour looking for it i found its in the right of the steering colum way on top of the dash but i found it so that means that my doorlocks were positive trigger and hooked it up that way and it work like a charm. And for the trigger i went to the link on top of this forum in the 88-98 truck forum and there i did a search and said that it was a purple(-) @ headlight switch and of course i tested with a dmm and it was that one.
