Hey guys, I currently have 20's on my truck which were on it when I bought it last year. I need new tires befoire the winter and was thinking of going to 22's. I want the best size for regular road driving and for when Im in the woods hunting and definitely in the snow.
1- 22" rims (either black silverado or escalade replicas or American outlaw Hollywoods with the 285/45-22 Nitto Terra Grapplers
2- just going with the 20s (same rims as the 22s just in 20s obviously) with 305/50-20 or 285/55-20 Nitto Terra Grapplers.
Does anyone have any opinions or experience with the tires and rims referneced above? Also, any opinions on the wheel and tire size would be really helpful. If I went with the 22s would I need to modify anything other than upgrading my brakes? Would I have any rubbing issues? Im looking more for a good rugged tire, not looking for the thin sport look. I dont think there are any lifts in the trucks, the backend is def higher though.
