Need input on NBS future mods and stockpiled parts.
Looking for some input.
I have been stockpiling a few parts since June, but will not see my truck again until October. Still have some time to decide on a few things.
Current stock piled parts and BB Tune scheduled.
1. Esky rack. Need to color match the end caps. (Thx Young28)
2. Spyder LED tail lights.
3. Esky rear appliqués. Plan to color match as well. (Thx Independent755)
4. Ordering Tony's 3/5-6" custom lowering kit with Spohn pan hard bar. Haven't decide on helper bags yet as I do not tow anything but do haul a few heavy things.
5. Black Bear Tune (in person) in October.
Currently running the black 20" LTZ wheels with Bridgestone Alenzas. (I know the black rims debate runs 50/50 on the TYF). Some love it and some are meh depending on the ride they are on. I did Plasti Dip the front and rear bumpers black to match the the black wheels, but left the grille chrome. After seeing all the color matched rides with chrome rims, it really looks smart. Especially on the darker paint. I'm a little torn whether to just keep the black rims or trade out and get some chrome.
On that note, I am contemplating making the switch up to the 22" ck375 as it is a TYF favorite and makes every truck on here look great or maybe the 2015 ck156, however they are pretty pricey for just the rims. I know there is a set of chrome 22" ck375s with Terra Grapplers for sale on the TYF, but not sure if those Nittos might have too aggressive of a sidewall pattern when the truck gets lowered? Or there is a set of 22" ck375s in gloss black as well.
If I get the chrome ck375s, I'd pull the Plasti Dip off of the front and rear bumpers and leave the esky rack chrome. Maybe color match the plastic parts of the front bumper (top lip and lower lip with fog lights)? Maybe put the lower valance back on to look lower in the front too?
Thoughts and input welcomed, especially the rims. Thanks guys. Already benefitted from being on this forum with other mods and some input in a few spots.
