I have been doing some light research into lifting my 04 Hoe. I don’t think I want a 6” lift on it. I was looking more for 3” to 4”. I just want a little more ground clearence and to be able to fit some bigger tires/wheels on it. My problem is that I can’t find a kit that fits a 2WD/RWD drivetrain... :/. Any advice or info, past experience? Thanks in advance.

It’s actually much easier than lifting a 4wd. You can do what I did on my Z71 4wd and get aftermarket keys and crank up the torsion bars in the front, and add spring spacers in the rear. Should get 2.5-3 inches that way. Or rough country has a 3 inch spindle lift for the front, would still need spacers under rear coil springs. Good luck.

Imo I'd go with some lift spindles and a larger rear spring. There are several companies that sell the spindles from Rough Country to ebay brands. For the rear I did a quick search and skyjacker, fabtech and other lift companies will sell just springs.

Then you could either add aftermarket keys to get a little more lift or crank the stock ones.

That would be he best way to do it.
