Well here's the story. About 2 years ago I dropped my '99 obs 4dr tahoe 2wd. McGaughy's 2/4 drop, spindles, hanger/shackle combo out back. It rode like a steaming pile of crap. I took the drop kit off and put the stock suspension back on. Now it rides better, but I can't stand it not being lower. I'd like to put some pennies towards an air-bag setup but I'm not interested in laying frame. All I want is to get low with the ability to raise it for a better ride on the rough roads I have around here. Since I'm not interested in laying frame do I need to go all out with a 4 or 6 link setup in the rear or can I use a flip kit with helper bags? Plus, what setup do I need for the front? I still have the drop spindles. Any help from someone out there with some info on bagging or staying static and what setup to use. Thanks for the info in advance.

I put drop spindles on with hangers in the rear, after the front end alignment it handed just like it did when it was stock height. After new bushings and what not it handled even better ... hopefully after new shocks and rear sway bar it'll be even better. Mine is a 95 4 door 2wd.

Ive done this drop on many trucks like yours no issues and my customers are from mid 30s to oldest 72.

DJM FRONT SPRINGS
DJM FRONT SPINDLES (dont pushout wheels like other brands)
DJM FRONT SHOCKS
REAR DJM FLIP KIT
REAR DJM SHOCKS
front/rear belltech swaybars

That right there will be 4/6 drop and ride is very nice due to still using stock leafs and the djm springs in front ride really nice. Also the shocks valving makes it a nice ride. Anything else just hollar
