New to forum. Have a 99 tahoe 4 dr 5.7 4x4.

Recently had problems with misfire and installed accel coil, distributor, rotor, cap, plugs, wires. And k&n intake. Shocks rotors pads swaybar links.

But my question is what kind of chip or other necessary mod to map the efi to accommodate there minor bolt ons. It's running too rich and burning alot of fuel.

unknown at this time.
:welcome: You really don't have enough on there yet to need to modify the mapping. I would suggest finding and fixing the rich mixture fault first. And when you are ready to tune the pcm contact BlackBear Performance.

Efi mapping means his pcm retuned. A tune will help even at stock. Hook the truck up to a movis get live data.

Well something is not right. It's running like a dog and smells rich. And now I have a clogged CAT.

****** gas mileage, poor performance.

Need to get cat's taken care of, still looking for input for a chip or tuner or whatever I could benefit from. I ride and modify my quads, not really knowledgeable on all the "hot parts" for these trucks. Came here looking to learn a little something and to get my truck running 100% again.
